Borgu Emirate

The Borgu Emirate is located in the northern part of Niger State, bordering Benin Republic to the west. It has historical significance as part of the Borgu Kingdom, which was a prominent empire in the pre-colonial era.

Kagara Emirate

Kagara Emirate is situated in the central part of Niger State. It was established as part of the efforts to consolidate traditional governance structures within the region.

Lapai Emirate

The Lapai Emirate is located in the southern part of Niger State. It has a historical background as one of the traditional emirates in the region.
